Karen Berard

Karen has been with The Virtus Group since October of 2000.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics with a minor in Human Work Behavior at Saint Anselm College.  Karen’s responsibilities include coordination of interoffice files and client documentation for mutual funds, annuities, brokerage, life insurance, and disability insurance accounts.  She oversees account maintenance for all levels of account types from start to finish, whether it be opening, liquidating, transferring or closing accounts.  She is also responsible for tracking required minimum distributions, as well as maintaining and updating beneficiary designations.  Karen plays a key role in daily operations with an emphasis on client services and she is in constant communication with fund groups, insurance agencies, and vendors to provide excellent customer service for our clients. Karen lives in North Carolina with her husband and is enjoying the North Carolina climate as well as exploring the area at every opportunity.
