Kyle Mushaweh, CFP®, MBA, CPFA®

An original native of Connecticut, Kyle joined The Virtus Group in 2012. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he participated in a summer internship program with Northwestern Mutual that first sparked his interest in holistic financial planning. His desire to deepen his practical and technical knowledge led him to pursue an MBA with a concentration in finance from Providence College.

After joining The Virtus Group and gaining experience within the firm’s planning-centric process, Kyle passed the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination) in 2016, both of which are currently held with LPL Financial. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2017 and later earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation in 2020, qualifying him to support corporate retirement plans through LPL Financials’ Retirement Plan Consultant Program (RPCP). Most recently, Kyle earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation, further strengthening his expertise in advanced planning strategies for high-net-worth families.

As a Wealth Advisor with The Virtus Group, Kyle works closely with individuals and families to deliver comprehensive financial planning and long-term wealth management strategies tailored to their goals.

Kyle is actively involved in the local community and profession. He serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Rhode Island, where he has also participated in financial education initiatives, including teaching high school students through lunch-and-learn programs across the state. He is a board member of The Greene School in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, and participates in the Rotary Club of Providence through The Virtus Group’s corporate membership. Kyle previously coached track and football at East Greenwich High School, an experience that remains an important part of his professional and personal background.

Kyle and his wife Danielle live in Rhode Island and are the proud parents of two young children. As a family, they enjoy traveling, staying active, and spending time together
